Detailed description

Hidden Hills Golf Course, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Jacksonville, Florida. The course was private for 50 years. As of February 1st, 2017 the course opened for public play.

The course is located just 20 minutes from downtown Jacksonville in secluded Fort Caroline. The course first opened for play in 1966. In 1986 it was completely redesigned by Arnold Palmer.

In the 1970s Hidden Hills Country Club was the site of the Greater Jacksonville Open, a tournament that eventually evolved into what is now the TPC Sawgrass.

This Arnold Palmer Signature layout is known for its intriguing curves and contours and rolling fairways, a setting that you don't often find in Florida. The fairways are lined with oaks, pines, and spring-fed ponds.

The demand for accurate shot placement and the natural beauty of the golf are the hallmarks of this course.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,892 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,016 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, the par-5 signature hole that plays to 612 yards and requires an approach shot to an island green. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 176 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 2, a 415-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 16, a 178 yard par-3.
