sand traps are more like gravel pits than sand traps. It's the only regulation course in the area. The next closest regualtion course is 125 miles away.

Hey, for the only game in town it was pretty good. Green fees have been drastically lowered and course was in nice shape. Staff was very friendly and clubhouse was beautiful.

Worse couse I have ever played. Paid $165.00 to play not worth $10.00. Greens were a mess, staff was rude. Will never go back. Would rather play minature golf.

Key West is at the end of the trail and this is the only course in the area.

It's the only pubic course for over 100 miles. The next closest public course is flatter than a table top and not much of a challenge. The biggest drawback to Key West Golf Club is it's lack of distance. Land is at a premium here so from the tips it's only about 6500 yds. With water in play on a majority of holes, and OB on the rest, it's not a course for bombers. I average about 265 off the tee and only use driver about half the time. The course puts a premium on accuracy off the tee and it's usually in pretty good shape. They are letting the greens get a bit smaller so they'll use less water but for the length of the course they are about the right size. There are only 2 par 5's but enough short par 4's make birdie opportunities plentiful.
