Bishops Gate Golf and Lakeside Community

Bishops Gate Golf and Lakeside Community, previously named Sarabande Country Club and originally named Bella Vista Golf & Yacht Club, is a Semi-Private, 11 hole golf course located in Howey in the Hills, Florida.

The course first opened for play in 1987. The course was designed by Lloyd Clifton.

Beautiful views of Lake Harris and the changes in elevation make this course an aesthetic experience as well as a challenging round of golf. Golf course designer Lloyd Clifton preserved the feel of Old Florida in this classic, semi-private layout, with tree-lined fairways, forced carries and numerous lakes and ponds coming into play. 

In 2012-13 the golf facilities were renovated to create a first-class training facility, with a 15-acre range and 11 golf holes. The golf course is organized as a 9- or 18-hole golf experience, with two different sets of tee boxes on seven of the holes and two different pin positions on eight of the greens

Located only 35 minutes away from Orlando attractions, this is a unique 6,700-yard, par-71 track.
