Detailed description

Ft. Lauderdale Country Club, is a Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fort Lauderdale Country Club has two championship 18-hole golf courses. They are the North Course and The South Course.

The North Course opened for play in 1988. The South Course opened in 1992. Both courses were designed by Charles Ankrom.

The golf courses at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club are of a traditional layout. Unlike most Florida golf courses, the Fort Lauderdale Country Club's trees, rolling hills, and bunker configurations can mentally place the golfer in the northeast United States.

The North Course has elevated tees and greens, and waste bunkers line the sides of many fairways. There is water that comes into play on thirty-five percent of the course. The North Course is a par-72 design that plays to a maximum distance of 6,915 yards.

The South Course is shorter than the North Course, with many more dogleg fairways and mounded greens. There is water that comes into play on twenty percent of the course. The South Course is a par-72 design that plays to a maximum distance of 6,661 yards.
