Detailed description of West Bay Golf Club

West Bay Golf Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Estero, Florida.

West Bay Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by Pete and P. B. Dye. This upscale private course has eighteen lush and challenging holes. Trees are abundant throughout with a variety of elevated tees and greens. There are strategically placed waste bunkers and pot bunkers. The course, untypical for Florida, has rolling topography.

Twelve of the course’s 18 holes are adorned by water features. Strategically placed bunkers and tight, yet well-defined, fairways describe this course.

A typical Pete Dye course, with moguls and tiered greens. A shot placement course, with a few wide landing areas.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
