Highlands Reserve Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Davenport, Florida.
Highlands Reserve Golf Course first opened for play in 1999. The course was designed by Michael Dasher.
This championship Mike Dasher design gives you pine tree-lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas, open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses, and a bit of old Orlando with citrus trees along the countryside. Large, fast, undulating greens make this course challenging and fun for all levels of golfers.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,649 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,973 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 515 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 140 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 408 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Highlands Reserve Golf Course is # 17, the 140 yard par-3.

Beautiful course. Greens in great condition. We were told that hole number three was a temporary green, changing from a par 4 to a par 3. We found the green but there was no flag on it. Lots of mounds and hills. Enjoyed the round and will try to play again before prices rise. They should give Florida residents a yearly break in price.

I really enjoyed playing this course twice. One of the better courses in the area for the price.

Although this course along with many others in the Central Florida area has undergone some very hard times in the last few years, a recent change in the staffing has improved the playability of this resort course 100%.
