Plantation Inn & Golf Resort -Championship, is a Resort, 27 hole golf facility located in Crystal River, Florida. The facility has the 18-hole Championship Course and an executive 9-hole course The Lagoon Course.
The Plantation Inn Championship golf course first opened for play in 1958. The par-72 course was designed by Mark Mahannah.
The Championship Course is an “equal opportunity course†where pars, birdies, and bogies await golfers of every skill level. Starting out, #1 is an easy-going par-4, the course gradually becomes more challenging, and features water obstacles, bunkers, and picturesque fairways lined with trees. When Mark Mahannah designed the course back in the fifties, he planned this course to be unlike any other, with plenty of surprises in store for even the most seasoned golfer.
The course has hosted several North Florida PGA events over the years.

I haven't played the course in over 10 years. The layout stayed the same, but the difficulty also remained. Fun course. Best played in the spring or fall. Summer is way too hot......

Tough course, lots of water. Length is accommodating. Greens are fast and true
