The Oaks Golf Course, previously named Live Oak Golf & Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Crescent City, Florida.
The Oaks first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by Miles Christian Anderson.
The course was closed in 2014 and reopened in the spring of 2015.
The course has no sand bunkers. Water hazards are strategically placed and can bite you if you over look them. The back nine offers nice long doglegs with semi-narrow fairways surrounded by oaks and whispering pines.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,051 yards
White tees: par-72, 5,634 yards
Red tees: par-72, 4,947 yards
$26 (cart included), played on Thursday, February 2018 at 10:00 AM
Under new management who has brought the course to life from what I saw. The fairways and the tees are playable but need some work but the greens and aprons are as good as you'll find anywhere. If management can keep the course going and it continues to improve this will be one of the best in the area in a couple of years.
