Detailed description

Divide Ranch Golf Club, previously known as The Fairway Pines Golf Course at The Divide Ranch Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Ridgway, Colorado.

Fairway Pines Golf Course first opened for play in 1993. The course was designed by Brian Coker.

The mature, award-winning golf course offers 7,039 yards of challenging play. It also offers some of the most extraordinary views. You tee off at the foot of the San Juans with Mount Sneffels rising to the south. Then you drive onto the magnificent mesa, where juniper, pinon and ponderosa pine line the holes. This course was built at an altitude of 8,000 feet above sea level. The terrain is somewhat hilly, so expect some uneven lies. This course is surrounded by a dense forest. Greenside sand bunkers come into play on all but three holes, and there are a few fairway bunkers. In addition, water hazards (ponds) come into play on five holes.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6841 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5291 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 613 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 154 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 9, a 613 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The third most difficult hole is #4, a 540-yard, par 5, featuring a ninety-degree dogleg left fairway and requiring an approach shot to a green with a large sand bunker looming in back. The easiest hole is # 12, a 154 yard par-3.
