Dos Rios Golf Club opened in 1964 with nine holes that was designed and built by Press Maxwell. Dos Rios Golf Club expanded to 18 holes in 1984 and the back nine was designed and built by Dick Phelps.

Watch out for # 5, a 438 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, the 173 yard par-3.
Dos Rios Golf Course has two distinct nine hole designs. The terrain on the front nine is predominantly flat, and the fairways are typically narrow. The terrain on the back nine is somewhat mounded, and the fairways are wide open. Dos Rios Golf Club has water on 17 holes, excellent putting surfaces, a complete practice facility, full service golf shop and bar and restaurant that is open daily from April 1 through October 31 of each year.

I play in the Dos Rios Open every year and really enjoy the course but the people are what bring me back. Al, Brian and MJ are the best.

One of the most friendly courses you can play in Western Colorado. Course in great shape. Good challenge.
