Detailed description
Mad Russian Golf & Country Club, The, previously named Jack Rabbit Trail Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Milliken, Colorado.

The Mad Russian Golf Course first opened for play in 1979. The course was the dream of a rather eccentric Russian gentleman by the name of Ted Blehm. Looking to make even more money than his few million, he imagined a golf course/real estate development near Milliken, just north of Denver and east of the Rocky Mountains. Blehm knew nothing about golf, so he hired Dave Tooley to design the layout. Blehm and a crew of Mexican immigrants built Jack Rabbit Trail Golf Course. "A novelty," Tooley calls it. It's 5,641 yards with two lakes and small greens.

The dream died in bankruptcy and Jack Rabbit Trail sat idle for several years.

In 1986, a new owner rechristened it in Blehm's honor, branding it with a Cossack dancing with a rifle and golf club and naming the course "The Mad Russian Golf Course." The course re-opened to play on August 1, 1987 and every year theycelebrate the date as Mad Russian Day

This unique Par 70, 18 hole public course will challenge your game with rolling hills, water features and demanding greens. The Mad Russian Golf Cours has stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and the Front Range. The tees are set from 4,126 to 5,641 yards, sure to challenge players of all levels.

The Mad Russian Golf Course plays to a par-70 and a maximum distance of 5,641 yards. The course rating is 66.4 and it has a slope rating of 121.
