Tustin Ranch slogan of Private Feel Public Play is right on the mark. The staff makes everyone feel special and the course is top notch.

I was visiting from New York and Only had to pay COMP price, so it was a great deal for such a nice course. Pretty challenging, especially the greens, WOW!! It's very nice, and some of the holes are awesome.. Gotta hit 'em straight here, not a lot of room.

From tee to green the condition of the course is excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful, and make you feel at home. Tustin Ranch is a challenging track whether you play from the black, blue or white tees, but fair. The course is enclosed by housing, but it is not a distraction to the beauty of the course and does not affect play. I enjoy the country club feel to a public course. The pro-shop and instruction areas are staffed with outstanding PGA men and women who are excellent instructors, club fitters and organizers. I'm hooked on this course.

Tustin Ranch is a gem and a pleasure to play. The Ted Robinson layout provides plenty of challenge for even the best of players. The greens have slope and levels, like every Robinson course. Two of the par 5s are reachable for longer hitters, but both have the green protected by a lake in front. TR is one of the few public courses where you can hire a caddy for the round. One downside - The rough is impossible to get a club through. If you catch the course when the rough is shaggy, you'll pay at least a half shot penalty every time you hit it in the long stuff. The real gem of TR is their kitchen. TR serves a great lunch and even better Sunday buffet. Their Food and Beverage folks are simply the very best in Orange County. I'm fond of saying they treat me like I own the joint - Only they treat everybody who shows up that way. Great golf course - Superior Golf Experience from top to bottom.

Great condition, especially greens. Only drawback is some severe slopes on greens. Use all your clubs. Great mountain views.

Challenging greens and a good layout. Need to hit good shots to score regardless of the tees you are playing from. Fairways, rough and greens all in good condition. However, regular rates at $100 plus during week is too much. If you can get a price of approx $50-65, then it would be a fair value. (Unfortunately, golf in Orange County, CA is overpriced in general).

This is a challenging course, whether you are playing from the tips or the white tees. The condition of the fairways and greens is excellent, with the fairways ample and lush and the greens fast, but fair. I play three to four rounds a week, and there isn't a course in the area that treats me as well as Tustin Ranch. I get the feel of a private course on a public track.

I have been a member here for several years and even was married here. Overall atmosphere is great and the staff are terrific. A little spendy without the membership but with it one of the best values in Orange County. The course, especially the greens, are always in top notch condition: the same cannot be said for some other expensive courses in the area. Play a few times and the staff will call you by name. Tee off early and you can get around in 4 hours, even at the weekend.

Nice course, twilight is a good deal, but everyone knows that and it usually gets over crowded.
