Whitney Oaks golf course opened in 1997. The course was designed by Johnny Miller.

Thousands of majestic live oaks, an abundance of well place bunkers, enormous granite outcroppings and an ever-changing topography characterize this championship layout. The multitudes of environmentally sensitive wetlands create additional challenges for golfers while affording them numerous opportunities to view a wide variety of indigenous wildlife.
