La Quinta Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in La Quinta, California.

The La Quinta Country Club was completed and ready for competitive play on Friday, November 15, 1959. On October 23, 1960, President Dwight D. Eisenhower flew in on his helicopter to dedicate The La Quinta Country Club. The course was designed by Lawrence Hughes. Robert Muir Graves redesigned the La Quinta Country Club golf course in 1999.

By 1964 La Quinta Country Club had become part of the Palm Springs Golf Classic later to be named the Bob Hope Classic. The Humana Challenge is now played at La Quinta Country Club.

The course has gently rolling fairways with two lakes nestled below the Santa Rosa Mountains. The course has strategically bunkered greens with substantial breaks and a traditional layout requiring accurate shots. The course has many mature trees and is unusually long for an older course.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,901 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 6,105 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 530 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 174 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 2, a 433 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is at La Quinta Country Club is # 11, the 530 yard par-5.
