Meadow Lake Golf Club is a Semi-Private 18 holes golf course located in Escondido, California.
Meadow Lake Golf Club first opened for play in 1965.The course was designed by Tom Sanderson.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,524 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,317 yards. The longest hole on the course is #1, a par-5 that measures 569 yards. The shortest hole on the course is the #16, a 161 yard par-3.
The course temporarily closed July, 2015. The course is scheduled to reopen in the Spring of 2016. The course will be shortened from 6,524 yards from the tips to 5,726 yards. Par will be 70, not 72. The course will be more manageable for the average golfer. The $6.2 million renovation, uses money supplied by the Metropolitan Water District’s turf removal program. The renovation project is being managed by golf course architect Dave Fleming.
When the course reopens in 2016, the course will be renamed, Boulder Oaks.

I play this course a-lot because I can play fast and its inexpensive. They have upgraded the conditions so the fairways are much nicer now than previously.

They are in the process of redoing the course and making it a executive type therefore they are letting the course get into very bad playing shape. I hope it works out for them in the future.
