Arnold Palmer has recently completed a redesign of the original 18-hole course and added a new 9 holes making Starr Pass a 27 hole Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Facility.
The three nines are – Coyote, Roadrunner & Rattler.

Super layout - played the course right after the overseeding so the fairways were a bit thick and wet but beautiful. The layout works is way around and through desert canyons. Be forewarned - if you play from the back tees there are several holes where you can't see the driving landing area. Nice bunkers and nice greens. A great course for the price. Desert is unforgiving - you usually can't play from the desert.

Did a stay and play package, so not sure how much of the price was greens fees. Rack rate is $215, and that is definitely way over priced. We played all three nines several times over three days and each is a little different, but all are challenging and well designed. A few rather hinky holes with some pretty difficult placement of fairway to green carry, but overall a great place. The fairways are some of the best, conversely, the greens are horrid....lightening fast, rolled to the point that there really is no grass, and really hard to read made putting frustrating. Take plenty of balls.... the arroyos are hungry and steep, and finding errant shots mission impossible. The course staff are some of the most friendly and helpful we've ever seen. Not only did they offer tips on playing and reading greens, their dining recommendations were way better than the JW Marriott Concierge!

Pleasnt in every way. Shop, Starters, Marshall, Cart Girl...all were as nice as can be. Food was good, drinks were tasty. We were guests of the hotel, of course.

Staff have an incredibly bad attitude. We were quoted a price when the reservation was made then the price changed when we arrived, then they would not honor the price. The staff had a very arrogant approach to the golfers. The attitude was like we worked for them. There was an altercation with a gentleman who cleaned my clubs after the round. He insisted on taking my cart and clubs, even though I was working in my bag to secure items. He just drove off and then had the nerve to challenge me as though I did something wrong, a very intense stareing contest. My recoomendation is skip the golf and eat at the restarant. They have some of the best grilled meats

This course was in great condition. The greens were true.
The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. Stayed at the Marriott and Starr Pass Golf Club is their home course.
