Prior to its' founding in 1968, the Club was the site of the famed Warner Ranch. The terrain offered such picturesque landscapes that it was chosen to be the film site of many motion pictures including National Velvet and Robin Hood. Each hole is named after a movie filmed on location: #1. The Command, #2. The Iron Mistress, #3 .Burma Road, #4. Giant, #5. Calamity Jane, #6. Road to Rio, #7. Showboat, #8. So Big, #9. Danger Forward, #10. White Heat, #11. National Velvet, #12. Carousel, #13. Bright Leaf, #14. Good Earth, #15. Robin Hood, #16. High Noon, #17. Stalag17, and #18. The Miracle.
