Detailed description

Mystic Creek is regarded by some as the premier golf club and residential development in south Arkansas. The development offers 194 residential lots, three visitor cottages and a championship 18 hole golf course on over 500 acres of rolling forested terrain.

The course, 10 years in the making, first opened for play in the spring of 2013. The course was designed by Ken Dye (no connection to the other famous golf course designer Pete Dye).

Architect Ken Dye took inspiration from the land and other's in the design, his tee to green shaping was patterned ala Alister McKenzie (think Augusta National) and the bunkering was Tillinghast inspired (think Winged Foot).

There are six sets of tees measuring 7,492 yards from the black (back) to 5,518 yards from the yellow (front).

Black par-72, 7,492 yards, 76.2 / 141

Blue par-72, 7,181 yards, 74.5 / 138

White par-72, 6,773 yards, 72.6 / 133

Green par-72, 6,297 yards, 70.5 / 128

Red par-72, 5,626 yards

Yellow par-72, 5,158 yards

The practice area has two tiers so grass is always available. The practice putting green has pitch and roll that duplicates on-course contours.
