Nakoma Golf Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Nakoma golf course first opened for play in 1925, making it one of the oldest and most beautiful courses in the city. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow. The Nakoma Golf Club dates to 1944. The course has been redeisgned / updated from its' 1925 configuration by Arthur Hills.

The University of Wisconsin's Arboretum bordered the course and provides a fascinating and diverse backdrop. The course features 3 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bent grass.

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6,416 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,461 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 594 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, a 594 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Nakoma Golf Club is # 13, a 174 yard par-3.
