Rose Hill Country Club opened for play in 1982. The course was originally a 27 hole layout. The course was designed by Gene Hamm.

Great course for the price. Needs some work on the conditions of the greens and fairway. Greens were faster on the front than the back because of growth of the grass. Fairways were in changing stage from winter to summer conditions. Also could used distance markers to the green. Could have used a beverage wagon too. Stocked up on refreshment at the turn though. Would play again.

Course just re-opened. fairways were still dormant but this layout challenges golfers of all skill levels and is an older, very pretty course. I can't wait to come back down here in the fall to play it again.
