Detailed description of Mooresville Golf Course
Mooresville Golf Course is a Public 18 holes golf course located in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Mooresville first opened for play in 1978. The course was designed by J. Porter Gibson. The course was redesigned in 2015 by Kris Spence.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,803 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,895 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 585 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 157 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 432-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 12, a 208 yard par-3.

I see that this course hasn't been rated in quite some time. Since then, about nine months now, the course has had it's entire front nine redesigned, the green's grass changed to midi-Verdi(spell?), new clubhouse, new driving range and parking lot. All this is top rate, in my humble opinion.

One of the best Public Courses that I know of. Great value for the play offered.

A pleasure to play. Recently renovated course and clubhouse a big plus for public facility. Friendly and helpful staff. A notable feature is the view of the par 3 seventh hole as you travel east on Wilson street to the course. The green, perched on a hill, appears to offer the challenge: just take your best shot!
