Bluff Point Golf Club & Resort first opened for play in 1890. Sometime after 1911, the 18 hole course was designed by A. W. Tillinghast.
White tees: par 72, 6,309 yards, course rating 70.6, slope rating 122.
Red tees: par 74, 5,295 yards, course rating 71.0, slope rating 121.
At the first tee you will realize the panoramic views that were once shared by Presidentsâ€™ William McKinley and William Howard Taft. A young Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Franklin D. Roosevelt, vacationed at this popular resort.

Designed by AW Tillinghast so if you are into the History of the Game it is a nice experience. Alot of rain this summer probably impacted the condition of the fairways and greens. Back nine has 3 par 5's, 3 par 4's and 3 par 3's, always a nice change to the standard. From Albany, NY, can make the trip in 2 hours 15 minutes up the Northway to exit 36....
