Detailed description of Country Club Of Lansing

Country Club Of Lansing is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Lansing, Michigan.

The Country Club of Lansing opened in 1908 as a 6-hole course named The "Lansing Golf Club." In the early 1920s, William G. Langford and the Chicago Park Builders designed and constructed the "new" 18-hole golf course covering over 150 acres of gently rolling terrain.

The course as it is today features tree-lined fairways, fifty-four beauitful white sand bunkers, a pond on holes 14 and 17 and a natural ravine between holes 8 and 9. T

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,697 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,341 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 557 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 118 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 3, a 424 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Country Club of Lansing is # 11, a 118 yard par-3.
