Watch out for # 2, a 559 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 171 yard par-3.
At Hampden Country Club, dramatic elevation changes produce a challenging golf course with spetacular vistas. Seven holes wander along the base of Goat Hill with gorgeous sunsets and views to the west. The other 11 holes meander through open meadows crossing brooks and ponds to create an interesting variety of approaches. The views, the natural wetlands and the landscape offer a wonderful setting for a championship golf course. Players of all skill levels will enjoy this course and it is always open to the public.

Nice course, play here regularly. Rough needs work. Fairways and Greens are decent.

Course was overcrowded and full of goosepoop not to mention a most unfriendly groundskeeper and women in pro shop.

I think it's one of the best Character Golf Courses in the areaand now it is back to being in great shape. They have done some great renovations but they have to be careful not to destroy the character of the course when removing Bunkers and cutting down trees.
