Stonehenge Golf Club is a public 18-hole golf facility located in Warsaw, Indiana. This facility was originally private.
The course opened in 1988. The course was designed by Ron Garl.
The 6,829 yard, par 71, course puts balance, play, precise shot-making and an aptitude for all facets of the game at a premium. Immaculately manicured bent grass tees, fairways, and greens plus the contrast of high grasses, waste bunkers, and mounds lend the course a distinctive Scottish flair. Its signature hole is #17, 197-yard, par 3, which requires a long tee shot over water and provides a panoramic view of the entire course.
The course closed on November 17, 2018.
On hearing the sudden news of the course closing, Stonehenge Golf Club golf professional Griffyn Carpenter announced on his Facebook page, “I can’t even begin to say how bummed I have been today. Unfortunately, we found out that Stonehenge Golf Club is closing their doors for good and not re-opening next season. The memories I have been fortunate enough to collect here and the people I have been blessed to meet truly make this place so special. From a junior golfer learning the game with my father and brother to a high school athlete playing for my dad, then to having the honor of being the head professional for this golf club, I have been very blessed with my time here throughout my life. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I value the friendships I made that will last a lifetime. This place has made a true impact in my life and I will forever be in debt to you Stonehenge! Thank you for absolutely everything! I will forever miss you!”

They've opened it up to the public with some restrictions (mornings on Wednesday and Friday, Saturday, Sunday) but it's a great price for the course. 18 Holes with cart is $43 and pace of play is great because it's not very busy on weekdays. The best greens around the state!

PRIVATE, YES, BUT THEY HAVE AFTERNOONS/EVENINGS WHEN THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PLAY OPEN LEAGUE NIGHT SCRAMBLES, MAKING IT ENJOYABLE AND COST-EFFICIENT ($22 FOR NINE-HOLES W/CART).
