Silver Lake Country Club -North, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Orland Park, Illinois.
Silver Lake Country Club is one of the finest golf facilities in the Chicagoland area. The facility includes two championship 18 - hole courses and one 9- hole executive course - challenging golfers of all skill levels.
The North Course was built in 1927 as a private club called Euclid Hills.
The South Course was developed in 1929 on an adjacent farm as a daily fee 18- hole course called Silver Lake Golf Club.
The Coghill family purchased both courses in 1940 and renamed them as they are today. In 1962, Rolling Hills was built as an executive 9 -hole course increasing the complex to its current configuration of 45 holes.

My friends and I typically play twilight golf somewhere in the southwesterns burbs of Chicago, most Sundays, weather permitting. Over the years we have gravitated toward this course most often, because its one of the better deals in the area for a public course, and for the price. The stretch between holes 8 and 12 is particularly challenging and scenic. And they sell the best hot dogs I've ever eaten.

One of the best courses and best values in the south/southwest suburbs.

Light rain or mist for 70% of the time, with brief "hopes of sunshine". Course drains very well. Greens a little slow, but unable to cut earlier today, so it was expected. Staff was great, and they have a great bar too!
