Bliss Creek Golf Club, previously named The Prestbury Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
Bliss Creek Golf Club first opened for play in 1988.
Floods in 1995, caused the closure of nine holes and the course was temporarily played as a nine hole course. It opened up again as an eighteen hole layout in the spring of 1997. Bliss Creek's beautiful tree-lined fairways and well-placed water hazards and bunkers offer a sporty, yet challenging test for all skill levels. The terrain is flat, and the fairways are narrow. You will find creeks and ponds coming into play. This is a fun course for the average golfer. At only $28 for 18 holes on the weekend and $18 for 18 holes during the week (2011 posted rates), Bliss Creek offers a great golf value in the Chicagoland area.
Par for the course is 69. From the back tees the course plays to 5,436 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,611 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 448 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 129 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 387 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Bliss Creek Golf Club is # 13, a 148 yard par-3.

Price was for 9 holes played as our league home course. Short but very deceptive and plenty of challenges to deal with. Greens have many contours to read. Water comes into play on a number of holes. Contrary to what was mentioned hole #1 is the #1 handicap and hole # 10 is the #2 handicap. Better loosen up before starting your round! The course can be pretty wet in spring so forget getting any roll. Great price for a challenging course.

Much more difficult than the distances would indicate. Challenging and sporty.

Based on the flooding in the area, it's in better condition than most.
