Kinderlou Forest Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Valdosta, Georgia.
Kinderlou Forest Golf Club was designed by Davis Love III.
The course is a traditional, classic golf course that should provide golfers with a memorable golfing experience.
The course plays to 7,781 yards from the tips.
The front nine has a hilly topography, uncommon to South Georgia, set in a forest that is comprised primarily of hardwoods (oak, hickory, magnolia, dogwood and birch) and some spruce pines.
The back nine is set in a planted spruce pine forest with an abundance of dogwoods.
The course is separated form residential development by green space buffers.
Wiregrasses, common bermuda, broomshedge, big blue stem, love grass and cord grass are planted throughout the rough and areas surrounding the course.

This is a Davis Love III design and is used as a Nationwide Tour venue. (just short of 7800 yards from the tips) I played one set of tees up from the tips and played the par 5's all the way back and found it very playable. There are plenty of tees to choose from. For those who are not big hitters, there are plenty of areas to hit run-up shots. The greens were quick and rolled beautifully. The clubhouse is terrific and it gets used by the community, so I have to rate Kinderlou as more than just a golf course - it is a part of the Valdosta community.
