Turtle Creek is a heavily wooded, traditional Old Florida style golf course. The course is located in a natural setting, featuring streams and lakes coming into play on a number of holes. The narrow fairways force accurate shots from off the tee boxes. The driving range is an aqua-range.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,503 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,786 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 545 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 152 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 18, a 407 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 3, a 164 yard par-3.

Will play again. Pace of play was terrible... waited on every hole. We played as a twosome with a twosome ahead of us. Do not understand why the starters don't make foursomes at the beginning of the round. If next time is this same pace of play, would not recommend this course. .
