Martis Camp Club is a Private, 18-hole Golf Course located in Truckee, California.
The Martis Camp Golf Course opened in 2008. The course was designed by Tom Fazio.
Martis Camp Club blends design with the dramatic topography of the High Sierras and the magnificent scenery of the Martis Valley. With emerald fairways, Ponderosa pines, and sculpted bunkers, the expansiveness and sheer beauty will remain ith you.
The front nine makes the most of the natural elevation changes and spectacular mountain views, while the back nine feels more intimate with holes crisscrossing Martis Creek and the valley floor. The finishing holes are framed by mountain vistas, with the 18th green concluding to great dramatic effect in the shadow of a rock promontory, home of the impressive Camp Lodge.
Martis Camp Club measures 7751 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 146 and a 76.7 USGA rating. The course has 5 sets of tees to accomodate different skill levels.

I have played more than 400 public and private golf course in the Northern California Golf Association. I would rank this course in my top 5 played along with Spyglass Hill, Mayacama, SF Golf club to name a few. The conditons of the course were suberb. The greens were very quick and are easy to three putt. Playing in high altitudes is always a treat off the tee. Nice views, with memorable par 3's and the tee shot from the back tees on hole number 10 is one you will not forget. The Fazio layout is one that you can score with some guidance. I played with a member that was an excelent guide on the driving lanes to maximize roll. The clubhouse, food and beverage services, and the staff were outstanding. If you can get an invite from a member, do not pass this golf gem up.
