Old River Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Tracy, California.
Old River Golf Course first opened for play in 1999. The course was designed by Lloyd Zastre. The course was initially a nine hole par 36 course. The second nine opened for play in 2007 making Old River a par-72, 18-hole golf course.
The new front nine will remind players of links style courses found in Scotland. Quite flat and fairly wide open, but with undulations, grass bunkers and water hazards on almost every hole. Unlike the back nine, the new greens are fairly flat and mainly require distance control.
The old back nine requires more precision, with mature trees bordering almost every fairway. There are many elevated tees and lots of water hazards. There are numerous greens with severe undulations that well test your green reading and touch.
Blue tees men: 6,400 yards for a course rating of 69.7 and a slope rating of 118.
White tees men: 5,901 yards for a course rating of 68.8 and a slope rating of 110.
Gold tees men: 5,586 yards for a course rating of 67.7 and a slope rating of 105.
Gold tees women: 5,586 yards for a course rating of 72.4 and a slope rating of 131.
Red tees women: 4,755 yards for a course rating of 67.4 and a slope rating of 1o8.
With 4 sets of tees, Old River is challeging for players of all abilities. Bring your A game as Old River has water hazards on 16 of the 18 holes and OB's on 6 holes.

Front 9 fairways not best maintained, though greens very good. Back 9 very challenging holes and entirely different from front 9. Excellent value. Check website for specials such as $30 for two with cart and hotdogs.

Considering spring has not come yet the course is in good condition. It has a few challanging holes and is a good muni. course. A great value to play at $40 for two with cart on a weekend. If you live in the Central California area or visiting it, it is a good place to play.
