Apr 23-Apr 26, 2015: Zurich Classic of New Orleans, TPC Louisiana, Avondale, LA. Congratulations to Justin Rose who was victorious in New Orleans. This is his 7th win on tour. He won twice in 2010, and once in each year since then. Rose is tied with Dustin Johnson as the players with the longest current streak of consecutive years with a win on the PGA Tour.

Mar 19-Mar 22, 2015: Arnold Palmer Invitational, Bay Hill Club & Lodge, Orlando, FL. Defending champion Matt Every won The Arnold Palmer International, his second PGA Tour victory, both at Bay Hill. He has been playing since 2005. Since last year’s win, his play has been poor. He hadn’t finished in a top-45 position this season. Perhaps his new swing coach, Sean Foley, has made an impact. Every carded seven final-round birdies to overtake World No. 3 Stenson, the 54 hole leader, Every’s 17-foot birdie putt on 18 capped off a 6-under 66 that earned him the title defense by one shot.

Mar 12-Mar 15, 2015: Valspar Championship, Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead), Palm Harbor, FL. Twenty one year old Jordan Speith was the winner. He gutted out the final 6 holes to come from a three hole deficit to qualify for a three man playoff. His birdie bomb on the third hole of the playoff clinched the win. This is his first PGA Tour win of the season, only his second career PGA Tour win (first in 2013 at John Deere Classic), but his third worldwide victory in the last four months. He’s now ranked No. 6 in the world and has to be considered one of the top contenders at Augusta.
