Detailed description
Hickory Hills Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Springfield, Missouri.

The club's original golf course was built in 1926, designed by John T. Woodruff and modeled after the great St. Andrews Links in Scotland. While the course has changed in size since its inception, the beautiful setting and great game it delivers has not.

Hickory Hills Country Club was the home course of Payne Stewart, two-time U.S. Open Champion, Hickory is often called upon to host both regional and state-wide tournaments. This old course has large oak and hickory trees lining its fairways. The fairways were built on rolling terrain. The greens are undulating and elevated.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,117 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,061 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 567 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 177 yards from the back tees and 110 yards from the forward tees.

Watch out for # 4, a 470 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 18, the 177 yard par-3.
