Detailed description

The Jonathan's Landing Golf Club facility has three 18-hole championship golf courses in one in Jupiter, Florida, residential community. They are The Village Course, The Fazio Course, and The Arthur Hills Course.

The 18-hole "Village" course at the Jonathan's Landing Golf Club facility in Jupiter, Florida, features 6,213 yards from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70.6, and it has a slope rating of 122 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Thomas Fazio, ASGCA/Andy Banfield, the Village golf course opened in 1978.

The first course to open at Jonathan's Landing was The Village Course course by designer Tom Fazio. This course is located amongst homes, lakes, and waterways. It is probably the only course in the country with a ferryboat. The ferryboat accommodates two golf carts and crosses a saltwater boating channel leading to the Intracoastal Waterway. The "Village" course is the most used at Jonathan's Landing and may be the most difficult with its small, fast greens.

Just a few minutes away at Jonathan's Landing Old Trail is a second course designed by Tom Fazio and the third course, this one designed by Arthur Hills. These courses bear the designer's names.

The Fazio course has been described as spectacular, innovative, Fazio's best. Each fairway meanders around lakes, wetlands, and pines. Dramatic contouring adds to the variety of play that is a Fazio tradition. And only one Clubhouse Drive separates the front nine from the back. So only nature's pristine beauty might distract you from your game.

Arthur Hills' course is the perfect balance with the Fazio courses. Hills has designed a course truly worthy of such a magnificent setting, with even the short holes providing a stimulating challenge. The natural beauty of the cypress hammocks and towering stands of pine remain unblemished. What's more, neither roads nor residential development are within the course.
