About Fred Arbanas Golf Course At Longview Lake

Fred Arbanas Golf Course At Longview Lake, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Fred Arbanas Golf Course first opened for play in 1986. It was designed by Brad Benz & Mike Poellot. The course was redesigned / rennovated in 2006 by Craig Schreiner.

The Fred Arbanas Golf Course is a beautiful course, situated near Longview Lake about 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City. The challenging layout, complimented by water, sand, mature trees and the infamous native Prairie Grass rough, make this an excellent choice for golf in Kansas City.

Fred Arbanas Golf Course is somewhat of a links-type course because it is loaded with mounds and hills, and features small, undulating greens. Water hazards (lakes) come into play on four holes.

The Fred Arbanas Golf Course At Longview Lake plays to a par of 72 and a distance of 6,879 yards from the back.

The fairways and greens were in great shape. The greens are smooth with undulations but are readable. The course is well worth time to play it do it pretty quiet on course so little or no distractions.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Sky Caddie has not updated course since the greens were changed, so expect bad yardage on all par 3's and some of the other holes.

We play this course frequently and find it very challenging. Unfortunately, the pro allows 5-somes, which slows play considerably. If you are unfortunate enough to get behind this large of a group, your golf experience can be less than satisfactory.
