Chesapeake Hills Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Lusby, Maryland.
It was announced in December 2008 that the struggling Chesapeake Hills Golf Club in Lusby, Md. recently was purchased by Calvert County from the Maryland Economic Development Corp. for $3.6 million.
County officials said they planned to invest an additional $650,000 in the property to fund repairs and kick-start operations at the course.
The course measures 6,545 yards, with greens fees ranging from $25 to $50.
Originally designed by Jim Thompson and opened in 1968, the course received $1.5 million in improvements as recently as 2005.
$26 (cart included), played on Friday, April 2016 at 4:45 PM
Well the course coming under the county now is starting to show the improvements, the only nightmare now is that they are allowing this soccer golf stuff. Every night though something is going on, so be prepared to have some stall time in your pace of play. As a local I look forward to the course coming back to life as it was in the late 70's - early 80's.
